1. Do I need a park permit?

Permits are not required to use a Roswell city park, but are recommended. Citizens with permits will receive priority over those without permits.

2. How far in advance do I need to purchase my permit?

The sooner you get your permit, the better. A couple of weeks to a month is usually adequate time to reserve most areas, but you may want to reserve further in advance if you wish to use the park during a holiday.

3. What are the office hours for the Parks & Recreation Administration office at 1101 W. Fourth Street?

The Parks & Recreation Administration office located at 1101 W. Fourth Street in Cahoon Park is open Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and open through lunch.

4. Can I set up a water jolly jump in the park?

Water Jolly Jumps are allowed in select parks. For more information contact the parks department at 575-624-6720.

5. Do you rent equipment?

Parks and Recreation does have a stage and sound equipment for rent. However, we do not rent sporting equipment such as volleyball nets, basketballs, rackets, tables, chairs, etc.
