A discussion of Roswell’s ongoing and planned projects to maintain and improve infrastructure and other aspects of the community, and the capital outlay dollars that fund many of these projects, will be the focus of this month’s City of Roswell virtual public forum.
The forum on Thursday, Sept. 16, at 5:30 p.m. is the seventh forum in a series of virtual public forums for 2021, which take place on the third Thursday of each month from February through November. The forums are designed to help keep Roswell’s citizens and their city administration connected and able to stay informed about and discuss topics important to the community.
Online questions and comments can be submitted during the forum. A recorded version of the forum can be viewed anytime after its initial presentation. The monthly forums are accessible on the city’s Facebook page.
Some forums cover specific topics while others are open discussions focused on one or more particular wards of the city. Each forum features appropriate experts from the various city departments or members of the City Council. A list of this year’s forum topics and dates can be found here.
The Roswell Public Library will set up a computer and large screen on which to show the forum. This is being made available for anyone who does not have internet or may have slow internet. Library staff will submit any questions citizens may wish to ask during the forum.
