Splash Pads provide numerous water features for children and adults to enjoy while cooling off.

Murphy Family Splash Pad (Poe Corn Park): 600 block of E. 2nd St.
Carpenter Park Splash Pad: 300 E Buena Vista St.

Monday-Sunday: 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
***Carpenter Splash Pad temporary hours are 11am-5pm until further notice***




Splash Pad Rules

  • Do not drink the water from the Splash Pad
  • All children under the age of 12 must have adult supervision at all times
  • Use caution as the pad surface may be slippery when wet, water shoes are recommended
  • At the first sound of thunder or sighting of lightning immediately move to a safe place away from the Splash Pad
  • Do not use the Splash Pad until at least 30 minutes have passed after a thunder or lightning event
  • The Splash Pad may be closed at any time due to weather, maintenance or other operational concerns
  • Bathing suits or swim trunks must be worn at all times within the Splash Pad. No cutoffs.
  • All apparel worn in the Splash Pad must be clean prior to entry
  • All children who are not potty-trained must wear a swim diaper

The following activities and items are prohibited on the Splash Pad

  • Skateboards, skates, hover boards, rollerblades, scooters, bicycles or similar recreation equipment
  • Glass, metal objects, soap and all materials that could create hazardous conditions
  • Climbing, pushing, hanging, standing, sitting on or obstructing water features
  • Animals, except service animals as defined by the U.S. Department of Justice
  • Drinking Splash Pad water, spitting or spouting water from mouth
  • Throwing objects or projectiles into Splash Pad or adjacent area
  • Persons having a contagious disease are not permitted
  • Changing diapers on or near the Splash Pad
  • Mud, sticks, leaves or debris
  • Food, beverages or gum
  • Running or rough play
