Dispatch

The PVRCC (Pecos Valley Regional Communications Center) provides 911 answering and dispatching of emergency services for the entire area of Chaves County, which includes the Roswell Police Department, Chaves County Sheriff's Department, Towns of Dexter, Hagerman and Lake Arthur as well as the City and County Fire Departments and Superior Ambulance.

During emergency situations, reliable and clear communications are imperative to provide the proper response for the citizens of Chaves County and the City of Roswell.

With an authorized strength of eighteen, including one Director of Operations, the communications staff is primarily responsible for ten emergency 911 lines, one seven digit administrative line, three direct dial personnel lines and a total of seventeen radio frequencies that include police, sheriff, fire, animal control and court security.
