The Holiday Artisan Market will be entering its third year in 2023. Submissions will be accepted through Art Cafe online beginning in February and closing August 4. The Market is presented in partnership with the Pecos Valley Potters Guild who previously held a premiere, weekend arts and crafts fair for 32 years in Roswell. The new iteration is a multi-week show and sale that benefits participating artists and helps raise monies for the RMAC Foundation in support of Museum Programming with 70% of sales going to the artists and 30% to the Foundation. The show accepts all types of art and craft media and is juried by a committee. Submissions are open to artists and craftspeople from New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and Texas. The amount of items displayed by each accepted artist is dependent on inventory, media, size and past sales and generally ranges from 60 ceramic pieces, for example, to 5 paintings.
