Responsibilities

 
The City Attorney is the legal advisor to the Mayor and City Council, the City Manager, city departments, and boards, committees and commissions.  The attorney handles a wide variety of legal responsibilities, including drafting contracts, legal opinions, ordinances and resolutions. The attorney also prosecutes misdemeanor and traffic violations of ordinances, provides legal representation in various aspects of law as it relates to the City of Roswell and represents the City in judicial hearings and administrative hearings.
