Drinking Water Week

The American Water Works Association celebrates Drinking Water Week the first full week of May each year as a unique opportunity for both water professionals and the communities they serve to recognize the vital role water plays in our daily lives.

It takes a lot to deliver just about any high-quality product, and our drinking water is no exception. It takes a maze of infrastructure, including treatment plants, pipes, pumps, storage basins and treatment supplies, to ensure your water is there when you need it. It takes a lot to deliver your tap water and our department is proud to provide this service to Roswell citizens. Our Utilities Department works hard around the clock to ensure high-quality drinking water is "There When you Need It" and on demand anytime.
