Alarm Administration About Neighborhood Watch Special Events

Roswell's Neighborhood Watch has existed for quite a while.  Originally initiated and active in the 1980's, it became somewhat dormant in later years.  In 2008, the program was revitalized and is strong today.

Two individuals are in charge of the Neighborhood Watch Program: Richard Lucero and Stephen B. Wolfe.

Richard Lucero is a Roswell native and a former Roswell Police Department Commander who retired from the force in 2001 after a career which spanned 22 years.  In addition to advising Neighborhood Watch programs, Richard serves as the Alarm Administrator for the Roswell Police Department.

Stephen B. Wolfe is also a Neighborhood Watch Advisor.  Joining the program in 2009, Steve is a long time Roswell resident as well.  He was the local Pepsi Area Manager for many years, retiring in 2002. He was then employed by Armstrong Construction Co., Inc. for seven years.  He is a retired U.S. Navy Captain.

While Neighborhood Watch is the thrust of the organization, both Richard and Steve are very much involved in the Chaves County Crimestoppers, the Roswell SAFE Coalition, and in fingerprinting activities at various local health fairs and similar events.

If you would like to become involved, call either Richard or Steve at 575-622-7233.
