Keep Roswell Beautiful is a program within the City of Roswell whose primary interests are in
beautification, reducing litter, graffiti removal and recycling.  Keep Roswell Beautiful is an affiliate of
the national program, Keep America Beautiful, and receives funding through the state organization,
New Mexico Clean & Beautiful, which is organized through the New Mexico Department of
Tourism.  Keep Roswell Beautiful's objectives are to educate and involve the community in
litter prevention, litter cleanups, wipe out graffiti, recycling, promoting green areas, and supporting
litter ordinances.  There are many programs throughout the year aimed at meeting these goals
which include: litter-free events/cleanups, educational presentations, Christmas Tree and plastic
Easter Egg recycling, beautification and recycling projects, Arbor Day Celebration and the
ongoing Wipe-Out Graffiti program.
