Watch Groups Meet!

Neighborhood Watch groups meet regularly across the city to get to know one another better in an effort to build partnerships within the community.

Meetings are part social and part business, as many host pot luck dinners, coffee and snacks and even ice cream socials.  Watch Group members get to know one another and soon become friends.

Important information about crime prevention is presented during the meetings to help members learn how to protect themselves and their property.  Members become familiar with home security, identifying suspicious behavior and reporting to the police.

Guest speakers are invited to meetings when requested by watch group members to offer information and answer questions that the members may have.  All watch groups are unique and have an opportunity to develop local solutions for local problems.
