Presidential-Politics Planes Land in Roswell

The Roswell International Air Center this summer has welcomed Air Force One, carrying President Obama and the First Family to southeast New Mexico for a June visit to Carlsbad Caverns, as well as planes that are being used by candidates on the Republican and Democratic tickets for this year’s presidential election. Republican vice presidential candidate Mike Pence flew in to the air center in August for a speaking engagement in Roswell. Recently, a plane from Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s campaign arrived at the air center to get some painting work done at Dean Baldwin Painting.
